The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (UWL), invites applications for one-year term Lecturer position(s) to begin August 2022. The department is seeking applicants with interests in teaching undergraduate biochemistry and/or general chemistry courses.
Candidates for the appointment must have a master’s or doctoral degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry or related field or be near to completing the doctorate degree by the start date. Candidates must have prior teaching experience and be able to teach in a laboratory setting. Responsibilities include assessment of student work and interacting with diverse groups. Candidates must have competency with standard lab equipment and safety practices. Candidates should submit a cover letter, CV, and the names and contact information of two professional references. The cover letter should address (1) teaching experience and (2) professional goals, as related to this position. Full consideration will be given to applications received by March 5.
