Adjunct Faculty in Chemistry, Loyola University

The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at Loyola University New Orleans seeks to fill two full-time faculty positions at the Visiting Assistant Professor level starting in August, 2022. The faculty hired will be on a nine-month renewable contract with a 4/4 teaching load and with teaching opportunities available during the summer for additional pay. One faculty member will teach primarily General Chemistry while the second position is needed in the area of Organic Chemistry. Courses in the nursing sequence, for non-majors, or in upper level chemistry may also be taught. An M.S. in chemistry is required, a Ph.D. and/or previous teaching experience in chemistry is preferred.
