Job Details

The Chemistry Department at the University of West Florida in Pensacola, FL is seeking candidates with expertise in Organic Chemistry for a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor appointment starting August 2022. The successful applicant will be expected to provide exceptional instruction at the undergraduate level. Teaching assignments will be in the areas of Organic Chemistry and related fields. Candidates will be expected to work on a research project with an existing faculty or establish their own project that engages undergraduate students. The candidate must have a PhD in Chemistry with a specialization in Organic Chemistry or closely related discipline from an accredited institution with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service.
