Chemistry Laboratory Instructor

 

The Department of Chemistry at Salisbury University, in Salisbury, MD is accepting applications for a full-time, non-tenure track laboratory instructor. The position is for one year, with a possibility of renewal. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to undergraduate laboratory teaching and departmental service. Appointment will begin on August 14, 2022.

 

Primary Job Duties: Primary job responsibilities will be teaching general chemistry and general education laboratories during the ten-month academic school year. Although not required, there may be opportunities to teach during the summer for additional pay. Ability to teach organic chemistry labs is preferable, but not required. 

 

Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in chemistry or related field required by start date.

 

Preferred Qualifications: Advanced education (Ph.D.) in science or education preferred.
