The Wabash College Chemistry Department invites applications for two Visiting Assistant Professor positions – one in the area of Biochemistry and the other in the area of Analytical Chemistry or a related field. Both are one-year positions beginning July 1, 2022. A second year is possible based on department and college circumstances and needs. The teaching assignment of approximately 12 contact hours per semester will be primarily in the junior-year course within the specialty, with other assignments related to general chemistry. The successful candidate must have a commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching, an appreciation for the broad intellectual community of an excellent liberal arts college, and the ability to work with a diverse student body. The Chemistry Department is ACS certified, has six full time faculty, excellent facilities and instrumentation, and support for undergraduate research.
