The Department of Chemistry at Bowling Green State University invites applications for a full-time nontenure-track, non-renewable Teaching Assistant Professor position to start August 2022.

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will provide instruction at the undergraduate level in courses associated with the General Chemistry or Health Sciences Chemistry (GOB) sequences and in survey courses in Organic Chemistry and/or Biochemistry.

Minimum Qualifications: PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a closely related discipline (e.g., Photochemical Sciences) and a demonstrated record of teaching effectiveness at the undergraduate level. ABD will be considered as long as the requirements for the degree are completed by August 2022.

Preferred Qualifications: Established background of effective teaching as an instructor of record and some research experience in a field of biochemistry.
