The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Florida State University invites applications for a full-time, 12-month Teaching Faculty position beginning Fall 2022. This is a non-tenure track position with opportunities for promotion. Applicants are required to have a Ph.D. or highest-level terminal degree from an accredited institution in chemistry or biochemistry, or equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties, with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching. The applicant’s primary responsibility will be teaching large-lecture organic and biochemistry courses, along with introductory chemistry courses and/or laboratory courses based on the qualifications and interests of the applicant. The successful applicant will be expected to participate in curriculum improvement, as well as provide service to the Department, College, and University.
