Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor

The Chemistry Department invites qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Laboratory Director of Analytical Chemistry. The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor or Associate Teaching Professor depending on qualifications. Responsibilities include serving as the primary instructor for sophomore-level analytical chemistry (CHEM 227) lecture and lab; assisting in curriculum development, enhancement, and innovation in the Analytical Chemistry Laboratory Program; and assisting in the acquisition and installation of new instrumentation and the operation/maintenance of all analytical instrumentation. The position will begin in the fall semester of 2022.

Competitive applicants should have an M.S. or Ph.D. in chemistry or related field and several years of college-level teaching.

This is a limited-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of renewal.
