Job Details

The Dickinson College Chemistry Department is seeking a visiting assistant professor starting in January 2023 for 1.5 years with the possibility of renewal for an additional year. The primary teaching responsibilities included in the 5-course load will be in analytical chemistry lecture and lab and general chemistry with the possibility of contributing to other courses in the applicant’s area of expertise. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to perform research with our motivated undergraduate students in dedicated laboratory space.  

Dickinson College is a highly selective four-year, independent liberal arts college with 2300 students.  It is located 20 minutes west of Harrisburg and is a two-hour drive from Baltimore, Washington DC and Philadelphia.
