As a member of the Hydraulics and Lubricants R&D team, the Development Chemist III supports the research, development and improvement of Quaker Houghton products used for Hydraulic and Lubricant applications, with respect to water and water / glycol based industrial oils. Reporting to the Lab Manager, the chemist will be responsible for autonomously maintaining and improving existing formulations and solutions to new application problems, under general direction of the manager/supervisor. The ideal candidate has industrial experience with corrosion and lubrication tests, is hands on in the lab and enjoys to take the lead in designing new products.

This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline, preferably Chemistry.

5+ years related chemistry experience required.  Equivalent combination of education (minimum bachelor’s degree) and experience will be considered.
