Job Details

The Chemistry Department at Ursinus College invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track, two-year renewable faculty position beginning Fall 2023. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in chemistry or chemical education and demonstrate potential for excellence in undergraduate teaching.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the multi-section two-semester organic chemistry laboratory sequence as well as teaching introductory and/or advanced chemistry courses appropriate to the candidate’s expertise. The ability to contribute to chemistry courses besides organic chemistry is desirable. Opportunities exist for interested candidates to pursue activities in chemical education and/or engage undergraduate students in research.
