The University of Arizona invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry (CBC), within the College of Science and College of Medicine-Tucson, starting in Fall 2023.
We seek candidates with a research and education program in chemistry/biochemistry exploiting artificial intelligence and machine learning, with an emphasis on the development and application of these approaches to measurement sciences, broadly defined, but including data analysis, biosensors, mass spectrometry, and other areas where advanced data science techniques are key to the research endeavor and drive fundamental scientific discovery.

Candidates must be committed to excellence in teaching and mentoring at both undergraduate and graduate levels and to an inclusive climate supporting diverse students, trainees, staff, and colleagues. 

The successful candidate will join a dynamic research environment within CBC and will have strong opportunities
to collaborate with numerous Centers of Excellence across multiple Colleges.
