Job Details

The Department of Chemistry at Tennessee Tech University (TTU) invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position (9-month contract) in Analytical Chemistry starting August 1, 2023. A Ph.D. in chemistry and postdoc (or equivalent) are required. Experience in independent method development in GC/MS or LC/MS is preferred. Analytical methods in any area are welcome (e.g., bio-analytical/medical, forensic, industrial, environmental, etc.). TTU is a comprehensive institution of higher education with particular strengths in STEM. The department, recently relocated to a new interdisciplinary laboratory science building, offers an ACS-certified B.S. and M.S. in chemistry and participates in the interdisciplinary Ph.D. program in Environmental Sciences.
