Professor of Chemistry (Open Rank)

The Department of Chemistry at Dartmouth College invites applications for a full-time tenure-track or tenured appointment. We will prioritize candidates qualified for the rank of Assistant Professor, but welcome applications from serious candidates at the ranks of Associate or Full Professor. We seek applicants who will establish or continue to grow a nationally recognized multi/interdisciplinary research program involving two or more aspects of our existing departmental strengths: materials chemistry, synthetic chemistry, and biological chemistry. We particularly seek qualified candidates who strive to innovate in a manner that will eventually drive unique collaborative research projects within the department and involve other Dartmouth researchers. Applicants must have completed a Ph.D. in Chemistry or a closely related discipline. Responsibilities include research and classroom teaching for undergraduate and graduate students.
