Above all, the department prioritizes research originality and potential. Candidates should offer a plan to develop an internationally recognized research program that builds upon existing university and departmental strengths. The candidate is also expected to contribute to realizing the broader vision of the university and be an exemplar of our shared values. The department is deeply committed to diversity; candidates are encouraged to describe how their relevant strengths and experiences can contribute to that goal.
