The Department of Science, in the School of Natural Science and Mathematics at Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, Maryland, invites outstanding teacher-scholars to apply for tenure track appointment in Chemistry. The successful candidate should possess a PhD in Analytical Chemistry or equivalent at the time of appointment, and postdoctoral research experience is preferred. Primary responsibilities will include a focus on teaching Analytical Chemistry, Instrumental Analysis, and may include elective courses and the General Chemistry course sequence. Primary teaching responsibilities will be courses related to Analytical Chemistry.  This position is to replace the current faculty member that currently teaches Analytical Chemistry and Instrumental Analysis.  Candidates are expected to develop a robust research program that engages students at the undergraduate level.
