ORGANIC/POLYMER CHEMISTRY TEACHING FELLOWSHIP, WESTMINSTER COLLEGE.  Westminster College (New Wilmington, PA) invites applications for the Diversity Teaching Fellows Program in the ACS-approved Department of Biochemistry and Chemistry beginning August 2023. The Diversity Teaching Fellows Program serves as a professional development and structured mentoring opportunity for scholars from historically minoritized groups who are interested in careers at primarily undergraduate institutions. The Teaching Fellowship is an annual nine-month contract renewable for up to three years.


The successful candidate will have earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related field before August 2023.  The primary teaching responsibility for this position will be organic chemistry courses with corresponding labs. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to teach upper-level courses in their area of expertise and contribute to the Westminster College First-Year Program. Finally, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to mentor undergraduates in research and to provide service to the department, Westminster College, and the chemistry community at large.
