Tenure Track Faculty Position in Chemical Engineering at Yale University

The Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering (CEE) seeks applicants for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level with the anticipated start date of July 2023. CEE wishes to recruit an individual holding (or soon to hold) a PhD in chemical engineering or a related discipline and having research expertise in the broad field of chemical engineering with a focus on design, synthesis, characterization, and/or assembly of materials with emphasis on transformative energy applications, quantum materials, and/or data science. These areas complement traditional strengths of the chemical engineering field in advanced materials, synthesis, processing and integration into industrial scale processes, and reflect Yale University’s science and engineering strategic initiatives. Candidates will be sought who can  establish strong collaborative efforts within the Department as well as with the Yale Energy Sciences Institute.

Applications should include a cover letter, CV, three representative publications, a description of research and teaching interests, and the names and email addresses of three references to https://apply.interfolio.com/112988. Review of applications will commence on October 20, 2022 and will continue until the position is filled.

Please direct any questions or concerns to Ben McManus (felix.mcmanus@yale.edu).
