Postdoctoral research positions are available at the University of Missouri-Columbia Chemistry Department within the laboratories of Prof. Wesley Bernskoetter. Candidates with expertise in synthesis, characterization or catalysis using transition metals will be considered. Research projects may include collaborative DOE sponsored University of Missouri-Yale University studies of carbon dioxide functionalization and/or NSF sponsored C-C bond forming catalysis. Candidates who can contribute to faculty diversity, such as through membership in a group that is historically underrepresented in chemistry or through other experience and training, may be considered as part of the University of Missouri’s Preparing Future Faculty – Faculty Diversity (PFFFD) Postdoctoral Program. All interested candidates should send a cover letter outlining their interest in the position along with a CV and contact information for at least 2 references to email@example.com. Candidates interested in the PFFFD program should also submit materials as directed via the portal at gradschool.missouri.edu.
