Tenure-Track Assistant/Associate Professor in Chemical and Biological Engineering
The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Northwestern University (http://www.chbe.northwestern.edu) invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position at the level of assistant or associate professor. Candidates must have received a Ph.D. in chemical engineering or a related discipline, demonstrate excellence in research, show a strong commitment to teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and provide evidence of past contributions and/or plans to enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion.
This search is focused on computational research in chemical & biological engineering, broadly defined, including, but not limited to, molecular-level modeling of materials, process systems modeling, or synthetic and systems biology. Candidates who can leverage Northwestern’s strengths in synthetic biology, data science, AI, materials research, energy and sustainability, and/or catalysis are particularly encouraged to apply.
