The Department of Chemistry at the University of Hawai’i at Manoa invites applications for a Physical Chemistry faculty position at the level of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor. Candidates with training and research interests in experimental and/or computational Physical Chemistry are encouraged to apply. Candidates are expected to establish a productive, externally funded research program in an area of Physical Chemistry and contribute to undergraduate and graduate Physical Chemistry teaching within the Chemistry Department.

Minimum qualifications include a PhD in Chemistry or a closely related field.  Desirable qualifications include postdoctoral research experience, a strong publication record that demonstrates research productivity, research plans that include a plan to obtain external research funding, a commitment to and track record of excellent teaching, and an ability to mentor both undergraduate and graduate student research.
