Job Details

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry is currently seeking a Full-Time Faculty, for a 9-month, tenure-track, Assistant Professor in an open search of organic chemistry, biochemistry or physical chemistry areas. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate interdisciplinary efforts in research and teaching that bridge at least two of these areas. The position starts August 2023.  For more information about the Bayer School of Natural and Environmental Sciences.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The successful candidate must have:

  • Ph.D. and post-doctoral experience
  • Ability to establish a nationally recognized and funded research program
  • Exceptional promise in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels
