The Chemistry Department at McDaniel College invites applications for a full-time, one-year position as Visiting Assistant Professor of Chemistry to begin August 2023.
Duties: The teaching load is 3 courses per semester. The teaching responsibilities for the successful candidate will include Organic Chemistry/Lab and General Chemistry/Lab in AY2023/2024 with the potential for Biochemistry/Lab should the position extend into future years.
- Ph.D. in relevant field preferred, ABD considered
- Experience teaching at the college level preferred
- The ability and willingness to work in a collegial manner with students, faculty and staff, and other constituencies is essential
