The Department of Mathematical, Physical, and Engineering Sciences seeks applications from qualified candidates with a robust research agenda for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Chemistry. The specialization should be Analytical Chemistry. Postdoctoral experience in chemistry is required. The appointment begins in Fall 2023.  Excellence in teaching at all levels of the curriculum, engaging students in research, leading and participating in externally-funded projects, and publishing in leading journals is expected. Contributing to improving student success in entry level Chemistry courses is also a high priority for the University. The base teaching load for tenure-track faculty is 3/3. Summer teaching assignments may be available but are not guaranteed. Service to the department, college, university, and the community is also required.
