The Department of Chemistry, Biology, and Health Sciences at the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology is seeking a full-time, benefited, 9-month, term Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to support the ACS approved Chemistry program starting Fall 2023. Primary responsibilities will include teaching General Chemistry lecture courses and supervising graduate teaching assistants in General Chemistry lab courses. The position will also provide opportunities to teach other courses in their area of expertise and to collaborate with other faculty in outreach and pedagogical innovations. A PhD in Chemistry or a related field is required. The successful candidate is expected to have a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and to participate in service to the department and university, curriculum development, and student advising.
