About This Role:
We seek candidates with an active research agenda that includes publication of research papers in peer-reviewed journals, conference presentations, and submission of proposals to various funding entities. Faculty at Lamar University are expected to participate in service opportunities at the department, college, and university levels (e.g. advising students, serving as mentors to students, participating in committees). Importantly, candidates should be prepared to teach a variety of courses in the undergraduate and master’s curricula including forensic chemistry.

To be successful in this role and a great addition to our team we need you to come with the following:

Applicants should have an earned PhD in the broad area of Forensic or Analytical Chemistry. Postdoctoral research experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements: Standing for long periods while teaching.
