The USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Crop Protection and Quality Research Unit at the San Joaquin Valley Agricultural Research Center is seeking researchers:
POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH ASSOCIATE (Mass Spectrometrist) for a ONE YEAR APPOINTMENT not to exceed four consecutive years. Ph.D. is required. GS-11/12 salary is commensurate with experience ($ 69,107 - $107,680 per annum) plus benefits. The incumbent will conduct research related to the mass spectrometry of agrochemicals, including nutrients, pesticides, and natural products. Must have experience maintaining mass spectrometers and chromatography systems. Research will be conducted at the USDA-ARS-SJVASC facility in Parlier, California and on limited basis at the University of California, Davis.
