Visiting Assistant Professor of Chemistry (2023)

Position Description
The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Washington and Lee University seeks to hire a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor to teach in the General Chemistry sequence and possibly in the Organic Chemistry sequence. The one-year position starts July 1st, 2023 and requires a Ph.D. in Chemistry or a closely-related field (ABD Ph.D. candidates will be considered). Previous teaching experience is highly desirable. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a 6.0 course load and may have access to institutional resources to engage students with undergraduate research.

Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Chemistry or a closely-related field is preferred. ABD Ph.D. candidates will also be considered. Teaching experience is highly desirable.
