The Department of Chemistry (https://www.bu.edu/chemistry/) at Boston University invites applications from outstanding candidates for the position of Lecturer starting July 1, 2023. This position requires a Ph.D. in Chemistry, with a preference for candidates who have substantial experience in teaching general chemistry lectures and laboratories. Duties include coordinating and leading the laboratory component of a two-semester general chemistry course, as well as lecturing in general chemistry. Candidates with an interest in developing innovative pedagogical approaches in laboratory chemistry instruction are especially encouraged to apply.
