Job Details
The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Ohio University invites applications for one full-time, Assistant Professor of Instruction (non-tenure-track) as part of Ohio University’s Innovative Inclusive Teaching Excellent (INVITE) faculty hiring initiative. This position is eligible for an initial five-year appointment renewed annually based up faculty member’s performance evaluations, interest of faculty member, and continued need of the department. This position is also eligible for additional multi-year appointments after the first five years. Teaching assignments will include general chemistry, as well as organic chemistry or physical chemistry, and other specialty courses.
Faculty will be expected to primarily teach in-person on Ohio University’s main campus in Athens, OH.
