Job Details

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Manhattan College invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Chemistry appointment, beginning in the fall semester of 2023. Applications are invited from any area of chemistry, with expertise in physical or inorganic chemistry preferred. Teaching responsibilities would include general chemistry lectures & laboratories, and course(s) in the candidate’s area of expertise. The visitor will have the opportunity, if desired, to conduct research and aid in the supervision of undergraduate research students.

A Ph.D. is required, and post-doctoral and teaching experience are preferred. Review of applications will begin in June and continue until the position is filled. Applications should include a cover letter, curriculum vitae and teaching interests and research interests that includes the role of undergraduates. Salary Range: 71,000 - 73,000
