Assistant Professor (tenure track) and Coordinator of the Core Campus Mass Spectrometry Facility, Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, South Dakota State University. South Dakota State University is the state's largest, most comprehensive university with more than 200 programs and an enrollment of approximately 12,000 students. Responsibilities will include 50% scholarly research, 30% teaching and 20% assigned service as Coordinator of the Core Campus Mass Spectrometry Facility. The successful candidate will develop an independently funded research program, will be expected to teach both graduate and undergraduate courses in the area of analytical chemistry, as well as contribute to the mission of the Department and University, mentor undergraduate and graduate students, engage in departmental and university service, and establish both internal and external research collaborations. .
