Description

The Department of Chemistry at the College of the Holy Cross invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor specializing in Inorganic Chemistry or Bioinorganic Chemistry to begin in August 2024. A successful candidate will be expected to teach Inorganic Chemistry lecture and lab, General Chemistry I and II lecture and lab, and an upper-level elective. A full-time laboratory supervisor prepares all laboratory experiments and works with faculty members during each lab. This position carries a 3-2 teaching load with a full-salary one-semester research leave prior to tenure review, and generous sabbatical and fellowship leaves for tenured faculty. Qualifications

Candidates must demonstrate excellence in scholarship and a commitment to effective undergraduate teaching in the context of a liberal arts college. Ph.D. in Chemistry required by the beginning of the appointment.
