The Department of Chemistry at Rice University in Houston, TX seeks applicants for multiple tenure-track appointments at open-rank with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2024. We seek faculty members who will develop a dynamic and innovative research program and who will excel in teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels, while embracing Rice University’s and the Department of Chemistry’s diverse community and culture of excellence.
We welcome applicants with expertise in any area of Experimental Physical Chemistry, including experimental efforts employing novel spectroscopic methods to study biological and/or material properties of complex systems. Candidates must complete their application through Interfolio, the hiring system for Rice University. A PhD in chemistry or related field is required by July 1, 2024.
