About This Role:

We seek candidates with an active research agenda that includes publication of research papers in peer-reviewed journals, conference presentations, and submission of proposals to various funding entities. Faculty at Lamar University are expected to participate in service opportunities at the department, college, and university levels (e.g. advising students, serving as mentors to students, participating in committees). Importantly, candidates should be prepared to teach a variety of courses in the undergraduate and master's curricula including organic chemistry.
