The School of Energy Resources at the University of Wyoming invites applications for a tenure-track position in nuclear science or engineering, broadly defined. Individuals from all relevant areas are encouraged to apply, including nuclear chemistry, engineering, physics, or materials science. The position will be filled at the Assistant Professor level and candidates must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent with postdoctoral experience highly desirable. 

The position will be housed within the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences (CEPS), which includes 10 departments including the school of computing. The College prides itself on research innovation, teaching excellence, industrial engagement, and broader societal impact, and has recently seen a significant increase in its budget. This includes new core facilities and dedicated funding for research initiatives. We are hiring a cohort of new faculty across the College and seek to attract a diverse and inclusive group of talented early-stage faculty.
