Job Details
The Department of Chemistry at Saint Anselm College, a Roman Catholic undergraduate liberal arts college in the Benedictine tradition in Manchester, NH invites applications for a Professor of Practice position to begin fall 2024. The Professor of Practice is intended to be a long-term teaching and mentoring position (12 contact hours per semester, 4 – 4 equivalent) with no research expectations. The initial contract has the option to be renewed after 3 years. Teaching responsibilities will include General Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry classes and laboratories. Prior forensic science experience is a plus as teaching responsibilities would ideally also include Forensic Chemistry classes and laboratories. Mentoring responsibilities will include academic advising. Applications will be reviewed beginning November 15, 2023, and continue until the position is filled.

A Ph.D. or ABD in analytical chemistry, forensic chemistry or a related field with some teaching experience at the undergraduate level is preferred. A M.S. in analytical chemistry, forensic chemistry, or a related field with extensive teaching experience will be considered.
