The Department of Chemistry at Tennessee Technological University (TTU) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in any area of Chemistry starting August 2024. A Ph.D. in chemistry or a closely related field is required. Research plans should emphasize the use of the department’s new, state-of-the-art MS facilities in any area of chemistry.  TTU is an R2 institution offering BS & MS degrees in chemistry. The candidate will be expected to establish and sustain a robust, independent research program that engages undergraduate and graduate students and complements the department’s existing research, while vigorously pursuing external research support. Teaching expectations will be at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
