The Department of Chemistry at Tennessee Technological University (TTU) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in any area of Chemistry starting August 2024. A Ph.D. in chemistry or a closely related field is required. Research plans should emphasize the use of the department’s new, state-of-the-art MS facilities in any area of chemistry.  TTU is an R2 institution offering BS & MS degrees in chemistry. The candidate will be expected to establish and sustain a robust, independent research program that engages undergraduate and graduate students and complements the department’s existing research, while vigorously pursuing external research support.
