Assistant Professor Chemistry
The College of Arts & Sciences at Washington State University invites applications to fill an open tenure track position at the Assistant Professor rank in the Department of Chemistry at the Pullman campus starting August 2024. The successful candidate will develop and maintain an innovative, competitive, vigorous, and nationally and internationally recognized research program in Chemistry. The position is open to all applicants with interests and expertise in physical, organic, inorganic, analytical, and radiochemistry. Essential responsibilities include establishing and maintaining an externally funded research program, advising graduate students and undergraduates in research, teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in chemistry and/or biochemistry,participating in curriculum development within one or more of the department’s current divisions, participating in the recruitment of students into the Department, participating in Departmental, College and University faculty activities, and contributing to the diversity and excellence of the university community through teaching, research, and service.
