The Department of Chemistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill invites applications for a Teaching Assistant Professor. Primary responsibilities include innovative teaching in courses spanning the first two years of our chemistry curriculum. We welcome applications from outstanding future educators in all disciplines, especially those with interests in teaching biochemistry and supervising an advanced biochemistry laboratory. Applicants must have completed a PhD in Chemistry or a related field, must have demonstrated excellence in teaching lecture or laboratory courses, and have an interest in advancing educational innovation. This position is a full-time, benefits eligible, 9-month, fixed-term faculty position with an initial appointment of four years.
