The Chemistry and Biochemistry Department of Nazareth University of Rochester, New York invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin August 2024. The department seeks candidates committed to undergraduate teaching excellence at a comprehensive institution that supports both liberal arts curricula and professional programs. Candidates will develop a strong research program involving undergraduate students. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry or a closely related field and experience educating diverse populations of students.
The successful candidate is expected to teach Analytical Chemistry with Laboratory, General Chemistry or General Physics, and Preparatory Chemistry for non-majors. Teaching responsibilities may also include upper-level electives in their area of expertise, and courses in the college core curriculum.
