The College of Arts and Sciences at Washington State University invites applications for a fixed-term, full‐time, nine‐month academic Career‐Track position (non‐tenure track) at the Assistant Professor level in the Department of Chemistry, starting August 2024. The successful candidate will provide outstanding teaching in introductory and general chemistry, have a passion for teaching, an enthusiasm for innovation in undergraduate chemistry education, and participate in other scholarly and service activities. Other essential responsibilities are to contribute to the  Department’s efforts to incorporate innovative pedagogies into the general chemistry curriculum and laboratory, work closely with graduate and undergraduate teaching assistants, and advance the college's commitment to diversity and multiculturalism among its faculty, staff, and students.
