Koç University, a foundation-supported, non-profit institution of higher education in Istanbul, Türkiye, invites applications for tenure track junior faculty positions in the fields of polymer chemistry/science and computational chemistry that will complement the current research activities of the Chemistry Department. Outstanding individuals with an exemplary research and publication record and a strong, visionary research agenda are encouraged to apply. Post-doctoral or industrial R&D experience is required. The appointment will commence in September 2024.

Successful candidates will be expected to build and sustain a globally competitive, externally funded research program, teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses, supervise graduate and undergraduate student research and assume service roles.

 

The medium of instruction is English. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience. Side benefits include housing aid, health insurance and financial support for K12 education of candidates' children.
