Job Details

Haverford College seeks to hire one or more full-time Visiting Assistant Professors for the 2024-2025 academic year, with the possibility of a multi-year appointment pending a successful review and departmental staffing needs. Successful candidates are expected to be able to teach courses across the undergraduate curriculum, including integrated advanced laboratory courses and advanced topics courses in their areas of research expertise. Haverford is a highly selective college with motivated students and a commitment to both quality instruction and significant scholarship. Our location in the close western suburbs of Philadelphia, with good connections to many East Coast cities, allows for convenient interactions with colleagues at other institutions.
