The Chemistry Department at the University of West Florida in Pensacola, FL is seeking candidates for two full-time Visiting Assistant Professors and a Visiting Lecturer appointment starting August 2024. The successful applicant will be expected to provide exceptional instruction at the undergraduate level and perform other duties as required. Teaching assignments will be in the areas of inorganic and/or general chemistry and related fields.


Minimum Qualifications: The candidate must have a MS or PhD in Chemistry or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.


Preferred Qualifications: The position requires exceptional instruction at the undergraduate level.


Teaching assignments will be in the areas of inorganic and/or general chemistry and other related areas.


Salary: Commensurate with education and experience.
