The Wabash College Chemistry Department invites applications for a tenure-track Byron K. Trippet Assistant Professor position in Analytical Chemistry or a related field to begin July 1, 2025. A Ph.D. is required by start of appointment (Analytical or Experimental Physical Chemistry degrees recommended). A strong commitment to engaging and evidence-based teaching practices that support student success alongside excellence in research in an undergraduate liberal arts setting is expected. The successful candidate will teach analytical chemistry and contribute to first-year chemistry and all-College courses. Establishment of a research program involving undergraduates is expected. The Chemistry Department is ACS certified, has six full time faculty, excellent facilities and instrumentation to support undergraduate research, holds several NSF grants, and has a strong tradition of mentoring in teaching, faculty development workshops, and a peer mentor program.
