The Chemistry Department at the University of West Florida in Pensacola, FL is seeking candidates for a full-time Lecturer appointment starting August 2025. The successful applicant will be expected to provide exceptional instruction at the undergraduate level, work with current staff to support laboratory coordination, and perform other duties as required. Teaching assignments will be in the areas of general chemistry and the candidate’s specialization area. The candidate must have a PhD in Chemistry or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching and service.  The position requires exceptional instruction at the undergraduate level. Teaching assignments will be in the areas of general and organic chemistry and the candidate’s specialization area.
