Chemistry Assistant Professor
NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY - The Department of Chemistry at Northwestern University seeks applicants for a full-time tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. We welcome applications from all fields of Chemistry but with preference for inorganic or bioinorganic chemistry. The successful candidate will be expected to direct an independent research program that will attract extramural funding, provide research training for graduate and undergraduate students, and teach graduate and undergraduate courses. This position is a continuing faculty position with an initial appointment of three years, beginning September 1, 2025. Candidates should hold a PhD degree. Relevant postdoctoral experience is preferred. Salary
The expected base pay range for this position is $115,000 - $135,000.
This base pay range is for a nine-month academic appointment, does not include summer salary, and is subject to negotiation.

The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including years since terminal degree, training, and field or discipline; departmental budget availability; internal equity; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
