Slippery Rock University invites applications for tenure track positions in the Department of Chemistry and Environmental Geosciences beginning August 2025. One tenure-track position will be expected to be in the field of analytical chemistry and the other position is in the area of biochemistry. Teaching responsibilities may include (but are not limited to) teaching science courses for non-science majors, general chemistry for science majors, and courses in the candidate's division (analytical/instrumental analysis or biochemistry) and the associated laboratory courses.

The successful applicants should bring a passion for teaching diverse populations of students, establish a research program involving undergraduate students, actively participate in student advising, and serve on committees at the department, college, and university level.
