Description: King University invites applications for the full-time appointment as Assistant or Associate Professor of Chemistry in the College of Arts and Sciences, beginning in August 2025. ABD candidates are encouraged to apply.

Minimum Qualifications: Applicants should be ABD or possess a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry or a closely-related field and have the ability to teach General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and other upper-level chemistry courses. Applicants should exhibit an enthusiasm for teaching and an interest in supervising undergraduate research.
Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. degree in Chemistry with a focus on Organic Chemistry, one or more years of full-time teaching experience, and experience leading undergraduate research.
Responsibilities: The appointed applicant will teach courses and laboratory sections for majors and non-majors, design and revise courses, contribute to program evaluation, participate in student advising and mentoring, and hold at least five office hours per week. Participation in university committees, campus life, and community service is also expected.
